This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. nempuhalo.com is currently partially conformantwith WCAG 2.2 AA: most of the site meets the standard, but some content may not yet meet every criterion. No website can be certified perfectly and permanently accessible, so accessibility is treated as ongoing work — the standard is met as closely as possible, tested on every change, and issues are fixed as quickly as they can be. “Partially conformant” is the W3C’s own term, used deliberately rather than claiming more.
How the site is built and tested
- Accessibility is built into how the site is made, not added afterward — semantic HTML, a visible keyboard focus ring, and honoured reduced-motion preferences throughout.
- An automated check (axe, WCAG 2.2 AA) gates every change; automated tools only catch part of the standard — roughly a third to a half — so the rest is reviewed by hand, on desktop and mobile.
- No accessibility overlay widgets are used. The site is built to be accessible rather than covered with a plug-in.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) together with common assistive technology, including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom to 200%. Core content stays readable if JavaScript or CSS is unavailable.
Known limitations
Last reviewed July 2026. As of that review, no significant barriers are known on the site. One area is kept under active review:
- The AI chat assistant streams its replies as they generate. It is keyboard-operable and announces new messages through a polite live region, but very long streamed replies can be verbose for screen-reader users — so a plain-text alternative for reaching the same information (emailing directly) is always offered alongside it.
